Celebrity DJ in Lawsuit

One of Hollywood’s premier DJ’s, DJ Timbo, was arrested February 24th, 2009 outside of the popular hotspot Guy’s in West Hollywood for assaulting a paparazzi photographer, Ron Becker.

Timbo expressed no remorse when the accident occurred as Becker posted the video footage on his website. Timbo was immediately arrested on site and released on bail for $5000. Becker is not pressing any charges but did file a civil suit which will find Timbo in court on May 5.

A key witness at the incident said that Timbo was provoked by the cameraman who questioned rumors of Timbo’s legal issues surrounding the popular night club Myhouse in Hollywood, CA. “The Camera Guy practically stalked Timbo the moment he exited the club. I heard him say leave me alone. Then Timbo swung and punched him out.” He concluded “Guy’s is always the place to spot Celebs just trying to be normal. It’s pretty annoying when someone sticks a camera and a bright light in your face. I would have punched him out too!”

DJ Timbo, whose real name is Tim Scarne, most recently appeared in the Zac Efron pool party video which appears on “Funny or Die.” He has also been seen spinning at Reese Witherspoon’s birthday and running around town promoting his newest single “I’m a F**king Celebrity.”
