‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie : First Look

In March we got our first look at the teaser poster for the new Guy Ritchie-directed film Sherlock Holmes which stars Robert Downey, Jr. as the super sleuth and Jude Law as his able sidekick Dr. Watson. Today, we get to see the first movie trailer released for the film. This trailer makes it clear that RDJ’s Sherlock is not your father’s Sherlock … this one is funny, as you might expect from an actor like RDJ. Here are a few screencaps from the new trailer:


While I doubt that RDJ’s Sherlock Holmes will be as wise-cracking as his Tony Stark in Iron Man, it’s clear that Ritchie wants him to have a sense of humor. After the jump, check out the Sherlock Holmes movie trailer in full and see for yourself …
LMAO! I love this film already. It seems to have just the right balance of smarts and laughs. You can tell that RDJ and Jude Law….

    I am so excited about this movie! I can’t wait to see this. Robert Downey Jr. is a marvelous actor with natural talent. You can also tell that he cared enough to really get into fantastic shape for this one. However, he always looks great!! I just have one thing to say. I am so jealous of Rachel McAdams right now. I would love to handcuff Robert to a bed-with or without clothes! Why do some women always get to be so darn lucky! I mean really. Just look at that man! I know where I’ll be on Christmas Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
