Now that Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford has been confirmed for the male lead in the upcoming Footloose remake, it’s time to nail down the female lead—and E! Online reports that Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is in contention.
“They’ve expressed interest in Miley for the part,” reveals a source close to Cyrus. Meanwhile, an insider for the production confirms that the 16-year-old “is definitely in the mix.”
