CELEBRITY WEDDING PLANNER DAVID TUTERA
RETURNS WITH BOUQUETS BLAZING
FOR THE NEW SEASON OF WE tv’s MY FAIR WEDDING
Season 2 of MY FAIR WEDDING Unveils Sunday, September 27 at 10pm I 9c
Every bride has a vision of what she wants her wedding day to be like, but sometimes it needs a little re-vision! That’s where MY FAIR WEDDING’s bridal expert David Tutera (who’s done celebrity events for Jennifer Lopez and Elton John, amongst others) comes in, arriving a mere three weeks before the big day to help transform and revamp the less-than-perfect into extraordinary platinum-style affairs. Along the way, David surprises the bridal parties with major last minute changes that take the bride’s original idea to the next level. And since it’s a wedding, emotions often run high. The WE tv original series returns to Sunday’s WE Go Bridal line-up September 27 at 10pm I 9c for an all-new second season. Photos are available for download at http://press.wetv.com.
Each episode of MY FAIR WEDDING features a different bride-to-be who has agreed to allow David to take over her entire wedding just weeks before the actual event. On their first meeting, David gets the download on all the elements she has already planned and designed….and then he steps in to amp it up in every possible way!
Whether it’s a venue change, new gown, new bridesmaid dresses, or entirely new set-up, David uses his expertise to transform each wedding into a unique over-the-top affair. And the bride has no idea what his final decisions will be until she sees them on the big day – often including her dress! It’s truly an affair to remember.
Celebrity wedding planner David Tutera, a seasoned veteran whose clientele includes Elton John, Matthew McConaughey, Barbara Walters, Kenneth Cole, former Vice President Al Gore and Jennifer Lopez, has designed countless film premieres and celebrity parties for royalty, politicians and socialites. He is an award-winning wedding expert, having been honored by Modern Bride magazine as one of the Top 25 Trendsetters of the Year and awarded “Best Celebrity Wedding Planner” by Life & Style magazine. With each MY FAIR WEDDING bride, David strives to not only create an unforgettable life event but also works to transform each woman, both inside and out.
The eclectic group of brides featured this season include:
Dayira (Candy Bride) – A bride with a sweet tooth who wants every facet of her wedding to be done in candy – from lollipop bouquets to a Twizzler-bedecked archway.
Lauren (Renaissance Fair Bride) – She seems like a typical “girl next door” with one twist – she’s planned a Medieval-themed wedding chock full of online Renaissance Fair decorations.
Quiana (Discount Store Bride) – A bride whose florist and baker are the local supermarket, and who has planned a winter themed-wedding with dollar store décor, having overlooked that it’s actually taking place in spring!
Caroline (Bling Bride) – She can’t get enough bling at her wedding – on the decorations, flowers and wardrobe.
Jamie (Mummer Bride) – Her fiancé is a “Mummer” (one of the Philadelphia-based social clubs who compete in an elaborate costumed New Year’s Day parade). Jamie is using the Mummers concept – Vegas meets Mardi Gras – as her wedding inspiration.
Bernadette (Old School Krush Groove Bride) – She envisions her wedding as “Coming to America meets Krush Groove” and is planning an old school house party in a fabulous setting.
Season two of MY FAIR WEDDING consists of 12 one-hour episodes.
