Jon & Kate: I don’t care about John & Kate – do you?

good morning! so up until this whole jon & kate gosselin scandal broke – i barely knew who they were – i’ve never watched their reality show – i think i saw them on oprah winfrey once – but now they’re everywhere – i hear about ‘em all the time and i’m totally sick of it! first he was rumored to be cheating – now this week’s STAR magazine is claiming kate has been getting it on with her bodyguard (she’s denying it) maybe this would be juicy if i had some emotional investment in their show … oh my gosh – if this apparently hot topic is as exciting as gossip gets right now – we’re all in serious trouble! also keep in mind a new season of the show is about to kick-off … i think the timing of all this is a little suspicious – the ratings are bound to be off the hook – probably bringing TLC their best night ever! (plus kate just released another book – sales are bound to be getting a boost) i hope all this lame drama dies down soon – it’s time to make room and hope for a new & way more exciting scandal (oh i’d love to see tomkat split up – that’ll be good and juicy when it happens …)

an ailing farrah fawcett is also featured on the cover – there’s been a lot of talk about her recently – i will for sure be watching ms. fawcett’s two-hour special this coming friday over on NBC (i’ll need to have a box of tissues on hand) sadly it’s not looking too good for her right now – it’s all so very tragic – at least farrah has her long-time companion of ryan o’neal by her side – her long & arduous battle with cancer is quite inspirational – she’s in my thoughts and prayers!

the last item on the cover is also tragic but in a totally different & far less meaningful way – jessica simpson does look better than she did a few months ago during that whole high-waisted mom jeans incident – however just a few days ago she was performing down at sea world – in texas (sadly it’s about the only place that will have her) and decided to wear a pair of super short daisy dukes which were not flattering at all – she’s gone from one extreme to the next (we all know style has never been her strong suit) the magazine think she looks pregnant (jessica’s wishing for that) but claims her sister ashlee simpson-wentz is actually preggers for a second time – i’m not sure if that’s true but we can at least add her name to the ‘celebrity baby bump watch list’! as for jessica – we can say all we want about her – but if her business empire is really worth $400 million dollars – then girlfriend is definitely doing something right – we’re just not seeing it! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
