When I heard the blasphemous news that plans are in the works for a redux of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that will not include any input from Buffy creator Joss Whedon nor any of his amazing supporting characters my first thought was, I wonder what the eff Joss has to say about any of this. Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly managed to get a quote from Whedon late Tuesday and brings us Joss’s response to plans for this new incarnation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer:

Blasphemous. Insane. Moronic. Re-freakin’-diculous. Those are just some of the colorful reactions that greeted today’s announcement that H’wood is planning to make a new Buffy movie without Joss Whedon (a.k.a. the worst idea in the history of civilization).
