- Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has been hanging out in Beijing this week, talking to the Chinese leadership about a range of important bilateral issues. In a follow-up interview, he assured us all that Chinese leaders had not lost faith in the American economy, despite concerns that a crashing dollar could wipe out much of China’s foreign currency reserve holdings.
