- President Barack Obama spoke in Cairo this morning, pledging to “seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world.” The sweeping speech addressed a range of subjects– from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, to political freedom in Egypt, to the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
