Adam Lambert Sets the Record Straight in ‘Rolling Stone’

In news that will apparently shock absolutely no one, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert officially comes out as gay in the new issue of Rolling Stone.
“I’m proud of my sexuality,” Lambert tells the magazine. “I embrace it. It’s just another part of me.”
Lambert goes on to note that he decided to audition for American Idol after having a “psychedelic experience” involving “certain funguses” at the Burning Man Festival in Nevada.
And, as long as he’s spilling the beans, he also admits that he developed a crush on Kris Allen, who beat out Lambert for the win on the most recent season…
