Bush Gets Ballpark Honor
Some presidents get schools, streets and even cities named after them. So far, George W. Bush has the owner’s suite at the Texas Rangers’ baseball stadium. It’s a fitting honor for the man who once owned the team and a reminder of how different the world might be if only he’d kept that job.

After the completion of his second term in the White House earlier this year, Bush moved to Dallas. His first big appearance locally was throwing out the first pitch at the Rangers’ homer opener April 6.
The Rangers plan to dedicate the “President George W. Bush Owner’s Suite” before Thursday night’s game against the Houston Astros.
