Even with all of its tabloid entertainment value, it is a monumental disservice to Michael Jackson’s memory that a thoughtful analysis of his significant cultural contributions, particularly in the realm of human rights and social justice, are being obscured in the process of examining his death and now his corpse.

Please forgive me, but I for one hope that those responsible for his torment and/or death do not sleep well anytime. They made Michael's life very sad. His daughter Paris said that her father was always crying. That broke my heart.

Thank you so much for your article. You know Michael told us in a very public interview, who was behind the sudden avalanche of attacks against him. He told us everything, who, why,where. What he didn't know was how and when. But it's all laid out in black and white. About his facial changes, I agree, Michael put himself through changes in a way to hold a mirror up to our face. He sort of used his own body as a canvass, and let me tell you, some of the most vile, disgusting things are said by people that are otherwise decent respectful folks. They didn't like the changes, they accused Michael of all sorts of things, but I think he did this on purpose to show us who we really are. He was and ever will be pure genius. Job well done.
