Chris Brown Apologizes to Fans and his former girlfriend, Rihanna

American recording artist and actor, Chris Brown posted a two-minute video clip on his official YouTube page to issue a public apology for the altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna in February. In this video relased on July 20, Brown revealed that he wanted to publicly express his “deepest regret and accept full responsibility.”. The 20 year old Chris told that he has apologized to Rihanna “countless times” and is “truly sorry” that he “wasn’t able to handle the situation better”. Chris stated that he grew up amidst “domestic violence” and “is continuing to seek help to ensure that what occurred in February can never happen again”. He realized that he has let a lot of people down and he is more disappointed with himself than anyone else. Chris Brown On June 22, 2009, Brown avoided a prison sentence by pleading guilty to one count of felony assault on his former girlfriend. As part of the plea Brown received five years probation and was ordered to stay fifty yards away from Rihanna. Brown is scheduled to be formally sentenced on August 5.
