Kristen Stewart talks about Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black

Kristen Stewart and her New Moon co-stars appeared at San Diego Comic-Con International to promote the ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’. The 19 year-old Kristen talked about Bella Swan’s character in the Twilight series. Stewart told “Bella and Edward’s relationship is so strange. I always say that she’s content after ‘New Moon’, that ‘New Moon’ is the struggle and then in ‘Eclipse’ the rest of her life is planned out and it’s not always such a big question as to what’s going to happen.” Kristen Stewart Kristen thinks in New Moon “it’s a much more heightened depression than you’d think” for Bella Swan. She said “Like, in this movie you don’t just get sad. You die. It’s the closest emotion to death that there is.” Something “really light” was needed to bring Bella Swan out of the “depression”. Kristen said “I don’t know how to describe how he did that but he just has that in him. I mean, Taylor has that in him, to be Jacob.”. In New Moon after months of depression over Edward’s leaving, Bella finds friendship with Jacob and slowly begins to come out of her depression. Their friendship becomes very strong, but Jacob also develops romantic feelings for Bella that she does not reciprocate.
