Other storage devices, such as the R4 DS, do not have these perks, leaving you with a plain, boring interface. If these added bonuses are important to you, then you’ll want to get the NDS Fire Card.

For a real time-saver, the Nintendo DS Fire Card offers the easiest game selection available. The touch menu allows you to browse through your games quickly to get to the one you feel like playing. Other devices, like the DSTT, have major disadvantages with this, including an inability to alphabetize your list of games and a lack of a simple folder browser.

The R4DS is not illegal (you can buy them from Amazon), but Nintendo wish it was. Video game pirates use the R4DS to play games they do not own legally. Owners of the R4DS are urged not to take advantage of this and Nintendo are fighting to stop the sale of the product. The long-term effects of piracy are a weaker gaming industry and therefore fewer games and games of a lower quality.
