Roger Federer: Simply the Best

Roger Federer defeated Andy Roddick 5-7, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5), 3-6, 16-14 in an epic five-set masterpiece.  With his 15th Grand Slam title, Federer moved ahead of Pete Sampras for the most Grand Slam victories in history.  Federer set a career high with 49 aces.  It was Federer’s sixth Wimbledon title.  He also has five U.S. Open, three Australian Open, and one French Open title.
