Thoughts on Favre

Being a NFL fan and a Minnesota resident the past decade plus, I was quite interested in Brett Favre’s Viking debut, despite the fact that I put little stock in the preseason. His debut was far from a smashing success.  He was rushed when he dropped back to pass, but he was able to bounce back from a few hits.  His throws were rushed, but he did show some zip threading the needle to complete a pass to Rookie Percy Harvin. Despite the less than spectacular debut, I think Favre will be just fine.
