WASHINGTON, Sept. 11, 2009 – Kenneth Hogate Bacon was a man of great integrity and humanity. He was first and foremost a newsman — endlessly inquisitive, continually seeking accuracy and clarity. He sought knowledge and truth. He upheld the public’s right to know.
