Wladimir Dr Steelhammer Klitschko will pulverize Eddie Chambers

IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring Magazine titlist Wladimir “Dr. Steelhammer” Klitschko will defend his crowns versus Philadelphian Eddie Chambers March 20 at the Esprit Arena in Duesseldorf, Germany.

 

Klitschko (53-2, 47 KOs), who won a gold medal for Ukraine as a super heavyweight at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, lauded Chambers (35-1, 18 KOs) abilities in the ring and stated that the 27-year-old is currently the best U.S. heavyweight contender.

 

“Chambers is not number one in the world rankings for nothing,” said Klitschko, 33.

 

Chambers was provided the opportunity to fight Klitschko after he defeated Alexander Dimitrenko (29-1, 19KOs) by unanimous decision on July 4 in a WBO title eliminator bout.

 

Mike Cappiello, a native of Brockton who once fought for the IBO super featherweight championship and retired with an impressive mark of 33-6, contends that both Klitschko brothers are beatable.
