Nickelodeon 23rd Annual Kids Choice Awards

23rd Annual Kids Choice Awards organized by Nickelodeon turned out to be quite a grand affair. The event, full of entertainment, drew a whopping 7.6 million total viewers who kept glued to the channel. The website too noticed mega number of visitors. The show was hosted the King of Queens star Kevin James. First lady of the US, Mrs Obama was honored with ‘Big Help Award’ for her work for fighting obesity. Also major winners include Miley Cyrus (Best Actress for Hanna Montanna), Best Movie went to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. Taylor Lautner got two awards simultaneously, one for best actor for the vampie thriller Twilight: New Moon along with Cutest Couple with costar Kristen Stewart for the same movie. Black Eyed Peas took the favorite Music Group title.On the television front, iCarly won the best show and Dylan Sprouse won the Best actor for ‘sorry Cole!’. The best television actress went to Selena Gomez. Taylor Swift emerged with two popular awards,  best singer and best song awards simultaneously for ‘ you belong with me’. ‘American Idol’ bagged the best reality show while Diary of a Wimpy Kid series won the best book title. Major stars and winners attended the show. Noticed major stars were Actor Will Smith, Dev Patel, Robert Downey Jr, Jackie Chan and singer Rihanna. Justin Bieber performed his song, “Baby’.
