Bears 4th Quarter TD beats Lions 24-20
The Chicago Bears won the 5th straight game in a see-saw contest over the Detroit Lions, 24-20. Bears QB Jay Cutler was 21-26 with over 200 yards and a 4th quarter TD pass to star for the Bears. The Bears had just enough to get by a stubborn Lions team that started Drew Stanton, the third string QB. Chicago has a 9-3 record and holds a game lead over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North Division.
Devin Hester almost broke a return for a TD today but was stopped by the Lions’s kicker. Hester looks like a threat to score once he gets the ball.
The Bears have 4 tough games left on the schedule, including a meeting with New England next Sunday at home. The Bears will finish the year with a game in Green Bay that could determine the Bears’ playoff chances.
