FORWARD OPERATING BASE MANDRIN, Haiti, June 20, 2011 – Stepping off the Black Hawk helicopter here, the scene is similar to that of many forward operating bases in Afghanistan.
Dan Foote, the deputy chief of mission for the U.S. Embassy in Haiti visits Task Force Bon Voizen in the Artibonite department of Haiti, June 17, 2011. The task force is wrapping up its two-month exercise there to provide humanitarian relief.
