BREAKING: Whitney Houston is Dead at 48

Wow. Earlier this afternoon, Whitney Houston died in a hotel. There’s no word yet on the cause of death or any other details at all, but Whitney’s death has been confirmed by her rep.

The last time we saw Whitney was earlier this week: she was exiting a pre-Grammy party with scratches on her arm and blood on her leg. I’m not sure if this is indicative of Whitney being high on something or wasted or if that would have anything to do with her death, but in retrospect, it certainly didn’t bode well.

We’ll keep you updated as more news comes out, but right now, as I said, all we know is that Whitney passed away. Despite everything, I’m still absolutely shocked. Didn’t it seem like Whitney would be around forever?

Rest in peace, Whitney. Tonight, I’ll be watching The Bodyguard for you.
