Quotables: January Jones Isn’t Who You Thought She Was

“…One of the worst moments in my entire life. It was an audition for Coyote Ugly, my second audition ever. I’d done the reading for the acting part and then Jerry Bruckheimer wanted me to come in and dance… on top of the table. Yes. They said, ‘You’re going to dance to Prince’s Kiss. You’re going to pole dance, but there is no pole.’ And I just turned beet red. It was awful, and he said something like, ‘Honey, you did a great reading, but you’ve got no rhythm.’ I called my agent and said, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore’.”
Oh no. January Jones was rejected for something in Hollywood. I just can’t imagine what that’s got to be like. I mean, it almost never happens. It’s not like there are tons and tons of actors and actresses all over LA and New York, trying to get a piece of that pie and hearing rejection notice after rejection notice. Gosh. She must have been just devastated that her career didn’t skyrocket after one audition as a f-cking extra.
You know what, January? Go on and talk to Jessica Biel, girl. She’s apparently in the same boat as you. The big difference, though, between you and Biel? Even though she’s a total pain in the ass, she’s almost likable. I hear she has friends. And above all? She’s got twelve whole pages here on Evil Beet dedicated to what she’s doing in Hollywood as opposed to your measly three. Take the hint, girl. Go away.
