That Elizabeth Taylor Movie Is Going to Be So Fantastic

I hope you got that sarcasm that I put up there in that headline. Because, in all truthfulness, Lifetime’s Liz and Dick is going to be far from fantastic. In fact, if it’s not the most horribly acted low budget mess I’ve ever seen, I’m going to be shocked.

Here’s the latest story from the set of the disaster of the decade:

Lindsay Lohan is so determined to prove she’s no longer a slacker — she’s hiding extensive injuries she sustained during her massive car wreck yesterday … just to keep shooting her new Liz Taylor movie.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us, the actress refused to let producers cancel yesterday’s shoot because of the car accident — bee-lining straight to the movie set once she was released from the hospital.

We’re told Lindsay has several visible injuries on her body — including bruises and scratches — but she asked to cover them with makeup so she could keep shooting.

Sources tell us, Linds is so serious about nailing the Liz role — she refuses to let the crash become a distraction.

Remember, LiLo has a lot at stake — besides this movie — she also needs to show other producers and directors in Hollywood she’s really back and reliable enough to hire.

So now in addition to having an Elizabeth Taylor with coke bloat and lip injections, we’re also going to have an Elizabeth Taylor with a number of unexplained scratches and bruises? Could Liz have a slight limp as well? In Lifetime’s crazy world, anything is possible.

And since there have been a lot of rumors about Lindsay’s crash yesterday, let’s take a moment to clear things up. Lindsay was definitely driving, according to both TMZ and People. Police told TMZ that Lindsay wasn’t under the influence of alcohol, but there’s no word on the amount of crack in her system during the time of the crash. Also, that car that she totaled? It was a rental. Let’s hope she got the insurance.

And speaking of crackhead shenanigans, here’s a more personal question. Say that some lovable gossip blogger ran out yesterday evening to get some Japanese food, and when she got back home, not twenty minutes after she left, a man who lived in her apartment building warned her to watch where she stepped because there was blood on the pavement because a couple of dudes got into a brawl in the parking lot. Say that these two dudes were two dudes that lived in the same apartment building as the lovable blogger, and what happened was one guy kicked in the other guy’s door looking for drugs because he’s (allegedly) a dealer, then one dude threatened to stab the other, then someone got punched in the face hard enough to leave visible blood on the ground. And then when the blogger got inside of her apartment, a fight started up outside again, and she actually honestly heard someone yelling something about crack. Here’s the question: if the lovable blogger’s lease wasn’t up until November, would she be able to leave without much trouble? Would there be any chance that she could get her deposit back so she can make another deposit somewhere else where she doesn’t fear for her life?
